Community Risk Reduction 1-Day Symposium – SPRING!
May 1 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
We are super excited to offer our 1-day symposium in the spring AND fall this year!
Register today for this great networking and learning event!
We’re putting our finishing touches on the agenda. Here’s what we have so far…
We are learning more and more how traumatic brain injuries can change the trajectory of individual’s lives. Dr. Sue Wolf and Tiffany Wilkinson, Empowerment Research, will address the long-term effects of concussions and other head injuries, and in what ways this may affect how we serve these individuals with our programs.
As fire departments adjust to the changing landscape of community medicine, we are often positioned to provide resources to our customers so they may age safely. Julie Wentz, Realtime Senior Living, will demo a new application to help older adults and their families find resources and assisted living communities that have openings RIGHT NOW – in real time.
Sometimes we forget that not everyone lives the same way we do. Sharon Cini, City of Scottsdale, will help us get a better understanding of our own biases and gain insight into how cultural competencies will enable to us to aid our customers more effectively.
Lunch will be provided. Sign up for this great networking and learning event!
