Topic:  Extinguishing Youth Firesetting - NFA/FEMA Class

This is the National Fire Academy's class - follows the NFPA 1035 standards for Juvenile Firesetter Specialist I & II.  They can be delivered as a 1-5 day class or a 2-2 day class.

Topic:  What Does A Youth Firesetter Look Like?

This class talks about the categories and characteristics of youth firesetters.  This class is interactive and includes videos, lectures, group and individual participation.

Topic:  All Aspects of Juvenile Firesetting

This course teaches the students the different aspects needed to have a successful youth firesetter program.

This course outlines the components of a Juvenile Firesetter Program, Data Collection, and who to include on your planning team.

Topic:  How To Write A Handbook

This class teaches the participant how to write a handbook for many different types of subjects in public education.

Topic:  Instructional Techniques (Presentation Skills)

The class goes over the "do's and don'ts" of public speaking, how and when to use media and knowing your audience and their characteristics.

Topic:  New to Public Education - Now What?

This class describes the planning process; identification, selection, design, implementation and evaluation.  Explains the importance of data collection in planning educational programs and how knowing your audience enhances your program development.

Topic:  High Risk Audiences and How to Reach Them

This course will assist you and identifying the high risk population, what puts them at risk and how to reach them.
