The
Arizona Fire and Burn Educators Association would like to invite you
to join us at our 4th Annual Desert Southwest Fire and Life Safety
Conference being held in Phoenix, Arizona on November 5-7, 2008. We
will be bringing you information on a variety of topics. Everything
from Fire Safety, Injury Prevention, Juvenile Firesetters and Public
Information Officers. The Conference is expressly for Fire, Police,
EMS and similar service-provider agencies.
On
November 3-4, 2008 we will be offering a Pre-Conference Workshop
"Juvenile Firesetter Intervention Specialist II" course. This
course will address the NFPA 1035 Juvenile Firesetter Intervention
Specialist II standards. The course will include Identification and
Intake; Coalition Building Support and Management; Budget and
Funding; Development of a Juvenile Handbook Resource Directory; Data
Base and Program Evaluation. After completion of this course you
will receive a certificate from the National Fire Academy.
